Today we received a baby shower from my friends at work. It was wonderful! We received many thoughtful gifts, gift cards, and some very useful cash!
It is really nice to be the center of attention on occasion, but I certainly don't crave being that. It is pretty hard for me to stroll around and chat with people, but having veggies, chips, and dip helped. When I ran out of something to say, I'd just take a bite. hehe.
The cake was good, and oh my gosh, the punch was the best party punch I've ever had. I have to get the recipe. It was that good.
