I really think this is great. Some of the commenters on Digg don't seem to be too impressed (guess they've seen it before) but I am. Here's a little picture of tarzan that I converted just to see how it worked. Brendan is really into Tarzan and Madagascar right now, so I happened to have the picture on my desktop...
Converting to ASCII dramatically zooms the picture up.
