House Phone

We finally canned our house phone today. Now we both just have cell phones. No more Cici's pizza. No more Hyatt. Yay!

Mabinogi

We just finished watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. It was awesome. I loved the ending. There's nothing like a story that wraps up all the loose ends in the end. Uh oh, except for that one about Zuko's mother. Hmmmmmm.

Mabinogi

Me and Jen and Brendan are all playing a game called Mabinogi right now. We've been playing it for a few months. It's really quite a lot of fun. Jen and I are both around Lv 100. We belong to a guild called Celion and we have some good friends in there. It's a good diversion, but it sucks time.

Dune

Dune is an outstanding epic. I've just finished the Audiobook. Now I'm listening to The Cat who walks through Walls, by Heinlein. Good too.

Computer Products for Education

The people are spammers. I have two test mailing lists at work that I'm the only member of, and I got their emails on both today. They obviously trawl websites for emails addresses, or else they bought a list from a company that does so. I hate spammers. I will never buy anything from them.

I got my iPhone 3G today. Woo Hoo x 2!

Wi-Fi
Speakerphone able to play music off the iPod portion
Pandora Radio on iPhone
Free apps out the kazoo
Google maps integrated with GPS

Not so hot on:
fingerprints
face grease

But I really, really love it. Steve Jobs, you are awesome.

Spot

I was watching Kent Couch's recent flight on his site and an ad on there took me to Spot, which is a really neat little satellite survival/rescue gadget. They have good videos of how it works. I expected it would be like $995 or something but it's only $169. You have to pay for "service" as with a cell phone, but it isn't too bad. It's not cellular based though. It's satellite. Woot for satellite!

Blogging slowdown

Well, that last one was my 1200th post. I've really slowed down my blogging lately. I don't really have a reason, but I just haven't been devoting time lately. I haven't been checking email or myspace much either. I have however been doing Wii Fit, and I've lost something like 20 pounds. That's cool. We're on a low card diet right now, and it is also working quite well. I'm beginning to hate cheese however. :)

I'm playing a ton of Mabinogi while the family is out of town visiting my parents. Woot!
