Something neat with Gmail

Thanks to this article, I just leanred a neat trick with Gmail. If you put youremailaddress+poo@gmail.com, the message still arrives in your Gmail inbox. It doens't have to be poo, by the way - the part after the plus can be anything you want. This is a good way to find out what bastards have sold your email address when you start getting spam on a particular combination. You could do email+tigerdirect@gmail.com to sign up with those people, and email+freescreensaver@gmail.com to sign up with a screensaver provider. Then when you get spam at the screensaver alias, you know they screwed you. Actually, if you were smart, you'd know before you ever signed up for the "free" screensaver that they were going to sell your address. As Mrs Hyatt, my high school economics teacher, used to say: TINSTAAFL!

Actually there is: I went to work the other day and got paid to speak at 3 orientation sessions, and then I got a free lunch too. Nyaa, nyaa, Mrs. Hyatt. Did Mr Hyatt buy your Volvo before you were married? :p
