Ebert's 10 Best Movies of 2005

Well, here they are. Know what I think? I'll probably never see any of em. In fact, if he put out the 10 Worst Movies of 2005, I would have probably already seen them all and liked them. Ehhhhh...critics!

Here's a few of my favorites in no particluar order. I see a lot of movies, so I have forgotten plenty:

Brokeback Mountain
Saint Ralph
Millions
Wallace and Grommit
The Machinist
Ballad of Jack and Rose
Everything is Illuminated
The Squid and the Whale
...Others I can't remember

As far as Crash goes, I thought it the very definition of contrived. Last Days was beyond horrible -- a disppointment for a Nirvana fan like myself. The Merchant of Venice was also painful. I never care for Ebert's opinion, though.
I have a hard time beliveing its honest. I mean, the man does have to appeal to his readers, or they'll look to some other critic to help them predict if they'll like a movie or not.

A Love Song for Bobby Long was also pretty good.
