Mars Rovers

I can't beleive that the Mars Rovers have been jaunting around for like a year now. For a while I'd check the site every day to see what was new. I'm still intrigued by them. Long live NASA. Long live the engineers who built these beautiful machines!

The Mars rover is so cool. Can you believe we have a robot cruising around like that? I drives me nuts to hink about all the money wasted that could, in part, be used toward improved space travel. We should be much further along by now.

I do agree that Mars is a distant thing to be researching, but advancing science by sending rovers there is OK with me. It would have been a lot more useful to humanity (I think) to explore ways to improve the International Space Station, improve our Launch Vehicles, or to find out how we can start a Lunar Outpost. I think that we need to look at the moon before we think about colonizing mars. It's a freakin two year trip or something just to get there, I think. By comparison, the moon is like driving to the crappy Chinese joint at the corner!
