Statistics show that closed-minded Texans vote in droves while open-minded Texans apparently went to have coffee.

I'm not too surprised. There are plenty of anti-gay organizations, but not many pro-gay ones. Mainly gay people are pro-gay, but the rest are mostly at best gay-tolerant. Being tolerant doesn't get one riled up to vote as much as being pro- or anti-.

At least progressive measures seemed do fair better in other states Tuesday. Including shooting down a ridiculous proposal in Maine.
