jibed2.exe

I couldn't find anything of use about this on the net, so I thought I'd post my findings.


I noticed this program called jibed2.exe had some ports open on my system, and I wanted to know why.

I did a "netstat -no" and got the following:

Then I went to task manager's processes tab to see what Process ID 2636 was. jibed2.exe! I checked the IP it was connected to and found it belonged to YIPES communications of San Francisco. Never heard of them.

A little more researched showed that this is part of the Knowledge Networks KN Messenger program that Jen has loaded for some of the surveys she takes. I consider it mostly safe. There are many other things out there that should worry you more than this.

Shrek 3

WooHoo WooHoo WooHoo !!! We're about to go see Shrek 3. Hope it's good!!!!!! (13377 YAHOO users give it a B, on average)

[Update:] I actually liked this one better than Shrek 2. It was pretty good, but #1 was still my favorite. I think #1 was intended to target the adult audience and when DreamWorks realized that stupid Americans were seeing it as a kids movie, they dumbed it down a little for #2. #3 brought a little of the original humor back, but not enough. I'll give it a B+.

Brendan was just digging thru his toy bin and found his...Peanut Butter Chapstick! He was so happy. He's a chapstick fiend. With him, chapstick is a whole face affair.

Night at the Museum

I was just thinking I'd like to see Night at the Museum and checked to see if our Library happened to have it. Nope, but they're going to. But I'll never get hold of it!

Well, we're on a diet for 2 weeks now, and I woke up this morning having dreamed about eating a Chicken Parmesan. Mmmmmmmm!

We need to weed the garden; it has more grass than real plants.

I mowed the front yesterday and then string trimmed in the rain. It was nice. I usually don't want to get out in the rain if I'm dry, but after mowing, I figured it would only make me cleaner. :)

That is all. I'm almost finished with Act IV in Diablo II, and the forces of Hell are calling me now...

We do indeed watch us some Dora the Explorer in our huble household, so when I saw this I couldn't help but LMAO.
